Kazakhstan's central bank announces base rate for 2020

AKIPRESS.COM - The National Bank of Kazakhstan took a decision on a base rate for the beginning of 2020 - 9.5%, Sputnik Kazakhstan reports.
The bank decided to keep it at the level of 9.5%, Chief of the regulator Erbolat Dosayev said on Monday.
The further decison on base rate will be taken with the consideration of the balance of internal and external risks that will determine the level of inflation and its correspondence with with the target points.
The annual inflation in November 2019 was 5.4% and is in stable level within the period of May-November 2019.
The biggest inflation contributors are prices for food, meat and bread products.
