Film about Chingiz Aitmatov shot by Russian directors to be premiered in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - On occasion of the birthday of the Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov, the Russian filmmakers shot a film about the writer, MP Zhanar Akayev said on December 9 at the session of the parliamentary committee on social issues, education, science, culture and healthcare. According to MP Sadyk Sher-Niyaz, the film will be premiered in Kyrgyzstan.
Akayev urged to organize a meeting with Russian directors, who will arrive in Kyrgyzstan for the premiere.
"We can screen the documentary film, invite people, prepare the hall, but it would be nice if the directors come here," Sher-Niyaz noted.
The lawmakers asked 100,000 som from the Parliament Speaker.
