Human rights defender asks President to hold meeting with attorneys, human rights activists on judicial reform

AKIPRESS.COM - There are problems in regulations of Kyrgyzstan in terms of detention and designation of pre-trial restrictions, human rights defender Dinara Oshurakhunova said at the third meeting of the Judicial Reform Council today. "It is a big news for us that 16 changes in the regulations were submitted to the Parliament already," Dinara Oshurakhunova said and asked the President to hold same meeting but with participation of attorneys and human rights activists now.
The President learns a lot at such meetings on judicial reform, she said.
"Please consider the possibility of such meeting before the end of this year or at the beginning of the next year," she asked.
