AKIPRESS.COM - As a result of the monitoring 4 carrier companies, 41 minibuses were banned from driving in Bishkek, according to the data voiced at the meeting of the Bishkek City Council Standing Committee.
Representatives of the State Environmental and Technical Safety Inspectorate said the first measuring of car emissions was conducted with the involvement of private companies. In total of 281 vehicles were inspected and 72 buses were found to exceed the standards.
The Department purchased equipment for measuring emissions into the atmosphere. The equipment was used to check 4 companies. The total amount of the fine was 68 thousand soms.
