7.6 million soms in fines paid for fake license plates - Deputy Road Safety Police Chief

AKIPRESS.COM - All vehicles with fake license plates were delivered to the police impound, the owners immediately pay the fines, said the Deputy Road Safety Police Chief Nur Satybaldiyev at the press conference in Bishkek on Dec 16. Previously, deputy chief of the monitoring of the road police of Kyrgyzstan Safety Mederbek Shabdanov said that 768 vehicles with fake license plates have been detained in Kyrgyzstan.
To date, the fine for fake license plate is 10,000 soms, said Satybaldiyev.
"We seize the license plate and send it to the State Registration Service for liquidation," he added.
"768 cars with fake license plates multiply by 10,000 soms, it means that the budget received 7.6 million soms from fines," said Satybaldiyev.
