Kyrgyz Embassy in Russia expresses concern about beating up of Kyrgyz migrants by SWAT soldiers

AKIPRESS.COM - Embassy of Kyrgyzstan to Russia commented on the incident in Khabarovsk city where SWAT soldiers beat up and detained Kyrgyz citizens.
The Embassy sent letters to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Interior Ministry, the Prosecutor General's Office expressing its concerns about the incident and the immediate investigation, as well as bringing those those responsible to justice in accordance with Russian law.
In December 14, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexandr Gorovoi pointed out the inadmissibility of such situations and told about the upcoming investigation of the incident, the Embassy said.
On December 12, 73 citizens of Kyrgyzstan working in the Vasiliev's vehicle fleet were detained and beaten up by SWAT soldiers. Two Kyrgyzstanis were hospitalized.
