Turkmenistan's main new year tree lit up

AKIPRESS.COM - Main New Year's Tree of Turkmenistan was lit up at the square near the Älem cultural center in Ashgabat on December 16, the state Turkmen media report.
The organizations of the ceremony were inspired by the motto of a year "Turkmenistan is the homeland of prosperity" and the literary works of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the agency said.
The ceremony of lighting the New Year's tree was attended by citizens and guests.
The tree was decorated with the LED lights, as well as the installations of the Turkmen folklore and colorful arch were installed at the entrance to New Year's tree.
The height of the tree is 40 meters.
