Another ex-Bishkek mayor Albek Ibraimov sentenced to 15 years in prison

AKIPRESS.COM - Lenin district court of Bishkek sentenced ex-mayor Albek Ibraimov to 15 years in prison on December 23. Presiding Judge Kubanychbek Kasymbekov found Albek Ibraimov guilty of corruption.
He was accused of corruption in construction of a school in Kalys-Ordo residence, embezzlement of funds in of the TNK Dastan JSC and corruption in granting municipal land plots.
Another ex-mayor Kubanychbek Kulmatov, who was accused of the same crime, was fined and released from prison today.
Albek Ibraimov was arrested on July 13, 2018.
