Executive editor of Informburo.kz among victims of Bek Air plane crash in Almaty

AKIPRESS.COM - The executive editor of Informburo.kz news agency Dana Kruglova died in the plane crash today near Almaty, the news agency reports. The 35-year-old reporter wanted to celebrate the New Year with her parents in Nur-Sultan and used the given flight.
"Dana Kruglova was a real journalist. Her articles sparked resonance, became example for all employees of the news agency. Dana became an executive editor and headed the research department on December 1. Dana was fair, courageous and at the same time objective. This is a big tragedy for all of us," chief editor of the Informburo.kz Mikhail Dorofeyev said.
The Bek Air airline plane with 100 passengers on board departing from Almaty to Nur-Sultan crashed in the village of Kyzyltu of Almaty region today at 7:05 am local time. As of now, 15 people are reported dead.
