Kyrgyzstan’s best undergraduate students receive presidential stipends

AKIPRESS.COM - The ceremony of awarding the presidential stipends to the country's best undergraduate students was held today in Ala Archa State Residence, the president's press service said. President Sooronbai Jeenbekov has awarded the stipends himself.
The awarded students were distinguished among more than 160,000 students of the country with their knowledge and efforts, the President said and congratulated them with winning the stipends.
On the basis of the competition announced in 2019, 74 undergraduate students from 31 universities of the country have won presidential stipend.
The presidential stipend is awarded yearly to the best students for their academic and social achievements.
The presidential stipend makes 50,000 soms and is awarded for one academic year (10 months).
