Japanese volunteer admires friendliness of people in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Akihiko Sonanaka teaches foreign language at a school in Karakol. She came to Kyrgyzstan from Japan's Kagoshima, Turmush reports. "If was hard to understand the language, traditions and customs of the Kyrgyz people at first. Then I learned to cook national dishes and speak Kyrgyz. I like cooking pilaf and besh barmak. Besides. I learned to saddle a horse and visited beautiful places," she said.
"The attitudes between teachers and students are different in Japan. School students treat a teacher like a mom. People are very friendly here. I found many friends," Akihiko san said
