President Berdimuhamedov gives $50,000 award to Galkynysh Horse Group

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov handed over $50,000 to Galkynysh horse games group at the International Ahal Teke Horse Sport Complex on December 29. The money was given for achievements of the Group. The Galkynysh riders performed in Bahrain with their Akhal Teke horses.
"Skills of the group riders, their big successes play a stimulating role in development of horse breeding in Turkmenistan, nurture love of young generation in sport, horses and help continuity of horse breeding traditions of Turkmen people," President Berdimuhamedov said.
The group was set up in 2007 by the Turkmen President. The group won several international exhibitions and circus festivals.
