Registration of candidates for Parliament of Tajikistan to start on Jan. 15

AKIPRESS.COM - The official registration of the candidates for members of the lower chamber of the Parliament of Tajikistan kicks off on January 15, 2020, Avesta reported. Head of the Office of the Central Election Commission of Tajikistan Navruz Samadzoda said that the process of nomination of candidates on single-member constituency began on January 1.
According to him, 41 electroral districts have been registered in the country on a single-member constituency.
Self-nominated citizens, ordinary citizens and representatives of political parties are allowed for participation in the elections set for March 1, 2020.
There are 6 political parties in Tajikistan.
