AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan in 2019 gained the 65th position among 141 countries on introduction of the information and communication technologies according to the Global Competitiveness Index of the World Economic Forum.
On other indicators, the country ranked as following:
- on a number of mobile cellular subscribers per 100 people - 59,
- on mobile broadband coverage per 100 people - 38,
- on coverage of fixed broadband Internet connection per 100 people - 95,
- on coverage of fiber optic Internet per 100 people - 54,
- on a number of Internet users in% of the adult population - 106.
