AKIPRESS.COM - The average cost of medicines decreased by 11% over the past three months, the Chronicles of Turkmenistan reports.
In 2019, the prices for medicines went down by 4% on average, whereas in 2018 prices for medicines almost doubled.
The residents of Turkmenistan do not feel relieved despite the price decrease and explain this by the fact that the purchase of medicines affects family budget anyway. Some medicines can be purchased with a 50% discount in case a medical insurance is available, but only inexpensive "Platifillin", which costs 20 manats can be sold by a pharmacy in this case.
