Ambassador of Uzbekistan presents credentials to NATO Secretary General

AKIPRESS.COM - Head of the Mission of Uzbekistan to NATO Ambassador Dilyor Khakimov presented credentials to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.
The current bilateral ties and prospects of cooperation between NATO and Uzbekistan were considered at the meeting after the ceremony, including cooperation in military education, as well as the efforts of the international community in bringing stability and security to Afghanistan.
Jens Stoltenberg took a note of regional cooperation in Central Asia and welcomed the role of Uzbekistan in regulation of the conflict in Afghanistan.
Dilyor Khakimov is Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Head of the Mission of Uzbekistan to the European Union.
