Main cause of Bek Air plane crash near Almaty killing 12 named

The main cause of the accident is icing of the plane, he said.
Before the flight, Bek Air plane was only partially de-iced with special anti-icing fluid. Only the stabilizer was de-iced, while wings were not.
On December 27, the plane bound for Sur-Sultan carrying 98 people crashed right after the take-off near Almaty airport killing 12 people.
