Osh-Batken-Isfana road blocked by villagers in protest against detention of Kyrgyz citizens by police

AKIPRESS.COM - The Osh-Batken-Isfana road was blocked at around 2.30 pm yesterdat in Kok-Tash village by villagers, who demanded to release citizens of Kyrgyzstan, who were detained at 11.30 am.
The official reasons of detention were allegedly provocative actions.
According to varying reports, 4-6 citizens were detained.
At 6.05 pm Interior Ministry's SWAT officers cleared the road from protesters and unblocked the Batken-Osfana road.
The road is open now, police forces and border guards are patroling the area.
