AKIPRESS.COM - Bishkek mayor's office wants to make amendments to pet care regulations in the capital, said the vice-mayot Tatyana Kuznetsova at the meeting with public activists on Jan 13. According to her, the regulations were adopted in 2002 by Bishkek local council and a working group was established.
The meeting was organized in order to hear public opinions concerning the current regulations. "The current regulation with comments will be submitted for public discussion and later to Bishkek local council," Kuznetsova added.
Bishkek mayor's adviser Gulya Almambetova said that draft decree is being prepared to make amendments to current regulation, as part of the bodies, which were entrusted with the relevant work was liquidated and some services are operating in accordance with the new codes.
"As you know, the inspection makes documents for pets and distribute yellow collars for free. What does it mean? A dog has documents and it does not pose danger to others, as dog is vaccinated," Almambetova said.
The cats do not have collars as dogs, added vice-mayor Mirlan Amanturov.
