AKIPRESS.COM - The draft law on animal protection is being developed, said the deputy head of Bishkek veterinary inspection Shamen Sydykov at the meeting with activist on Jan 13. Bishkek mayor's office organized a meeting with concerned parties on making amendments to pet care regulations in Bishkek.
According to Sydykov, the parliament already has this document.
Sydykov believes that it is necessary to take into account the introduced draft law, when making amendments to the regulation of per care, as significant changes took place when the law on animals identification and law on veterinary medicine were adopted.
"The necessity on making amendments to the regulations emerged due to the fact that old regulations do not have the pet care, including dogs and cats in the private back yards," said Sydykov.
