Kazakhstani assets in Brazil to be sold under supervision of Consuls

AKIPRESS.COM - The General Prosecutor's Office of Kazakhstan explained the rules of confiscation of Kazakhstani assets in Brazil, LS reported.
The issue was raised by a member of the Mazhilis Amanzhan Zhamalov at the plenary session.
Deputy Prosecutor General Akhmetzhanov said that if investigation proves that there are assets subject to confiscation in favor of Kazakhstan, they should be confiscated.
"We can appeal to the Justice Ministry of Brazil that our representative could participate in trading," he said.
Speaker of the Mazhilis Nurlan Nigmatulin noted that this kinds of norms should be introduced in all agreements with other countries.
