AKIPRESS.COM - An archeress from Kyrgyzstan Aslanaiym Ashirova can not do her favorite activities and earn money for living after she received trauma during the ethnofestival in Saudi Arabia, MP Aida Ismailova (Respublika - Ata-Jurt) said at the Parliament session today. The lawmaker is outraged over ignorance of state structures accountable for organization of the trip to the ethnofestival of Ashirova.
"As we know, she had her leg broken during the rehearsal due to the irresponsibility of organizors. On Marsh 8, 2019, she was delivered to the hospital in Riyadh city, where it was established that she had no a medical insurance in that country in case of threat to life or health of the delegate, which might cover the medical costs for surgery," Ismailova said.
The parliamentarian said that the financial issue was resolved due to the activities of the Embassy.
Ashirova returned home on March 27 and her mother continued a treatment for her own money. After the incident, the government did not pay any money and forgot about the athlete, Ismailova noted.
In this regard, the parliamentarian asked to provide information why the archeress did not have a medical insurance and who was accountable for making life and health insurance to the delegates.
