Mongolia's Battulga, World Economic Forum’s President discuss cooperation

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga received Mr. Børge Brende, President of the World Economic Forum, Montsame reports.
During the meeting, which mainly discussed geopolitical issues, Battulga provided information on Mongolia's auto road that linked Eurasia and currently expanding railway network as well as energy resource in Mongolia.
Mr. Børge Brende agreed with ‘Super Grid' initiatives for supplying low-cost electricity to the countries in Northeast Asia, producing electricity from solar and wind sources, is attractive at the regional level and Mongolia's infrastructure is an important hub that connects Eurasia.
The sides then agreed to hold a sub session during ‘Summer Davos Forum', which is expected to take place in Jakarta, Indonesia, in order to draw investment in ongoing projects in infrastructure and energy sectors and increase participation of countries.
