AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin said 93% of the population will get access to Internet in 2020 while speaking at the extended government meeting today, Informburo.kz reported.
The government will broaden the coverage of Internet service up to 93%, bring civil service level in electronic format up to 90% and increase the level of digital literacy of the population up to 80%, Mamin noted.
A special attention was paid to implementation of the Smart City project, which will lead to increase of effectiveness of works of municipal services and the quality of infrastructure.
A total of $137 billion investments are planned to be attracted in 2020, the PM said.
10,000 jobs will be created as part of digitalization, he noted.
