Kazakh President offers moratorium on expensive cars, furniture and number of forums

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on January 24 suggested to impose a moratorium on purchase of expensive cars, furniture and holding of various forums and seminars, local media say. Expenditures that can be safely cancelled should be determined, he noted.
"We need a long-term moratorium on purchasing of expensive cars, furniture and reduce a number of forums, seminars and conferences," he said during the extended government session.
