Kazakh President orders government to provide temporary registration of vehicles imported from EAEU

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has tasked the General Prosecutor's Office to give a legal assessment to the situation around the vehicles imported from the Eurasian Economic Union, local media said. According to him, most of them are not regisered in Kazakhstan, he said.
In this regard, Tokayev ordered to provide a temporary registration of vehicles imported from the EAEU for personal use within a month. Registration will be valid until March 1, 2021, the head of state said.
The government should fulfill the relevant technical requirements while registration, Tokayev noted.
The citizens should pay for registration fees and customs, he added.
