AKIPRESS.COM - Today about 400 thousand children cannot go to kindergartens because of their absence, Prime Minister Muhamedkaly Abilgaziyev said at the annual conference of Public Councils of State Authorities on January 25. Abylgaziyev said the Kyrgyz president announced 2020 as the Year of Regional Development, Digitalization and Protection of Children.
"Work is underway to provide clean drinking water to the population, build social facilities and provide the Internet throughout the country. In all corners of the country there should be modern schools with high level of teaching, hospitals and kindergartens. Today about 400 thousand children cannot go to kindergartens because of their absence. Every day a relevant work is done to solve this problem. Over 200 schools and kindergartens have been built in the last two years alone," the prime minister said.
The heads of ministries and departments have been instructed to cooperate more actively with public councils of state bodies in their work, holding regular meetings and listening to their recommendations.
