Yusuf Rahmon reappointed as Prosecutor General of Tajikistan

AKIPRESS.COM - An extraordinary session of the Tajik parliament considered and reapproved Yusuf Rahmon as the country's Prosecutor General on January 24.
The session was convened at the order of President Emomali Rahmon, Asia Plus reports.
Under Tajik law, the head of the Supreme Court and the Prosecutor General are appointed after the candidates get approved by members of the upper house of parliament.
Yusuf Rahmon was appointed Prosecutor General in January 2015. His term has now been extended for the next five years.
