AKIPRESS.COM - About 200 convicts are serving their sentences in the penal colony for tuberculosis treatment No. 31 located in the village of Moldovanovka.
Until 1968 it was a female prison, after that was reclassified to a penal colony for treatment of inmates from alcohol addiction until 1992.
In 1992, it was transformed into the prison of reinforced regime No. 31, and 7 years later the institution was transformed into the penal colony for the treatment of drug addicts.
Since 2000, it's a Corrective TB Treatment Facility, and in 2012 new residential buildings were built.
