Kazakhstan, UAE sign cooperation documents

AKIPRESS.COM - As part of the official visit of President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the United Arab Emirates, the two countries signed some memoranda of understanding in several cooperation spheres, Akorda press service reported.
Tokayev was greeted by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan at the Qaṣr Al-Waṭan Presidential palace.
The President of Kazakhstan and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi held bilateral talks. They discussed issues of cooperation in petrochemicals, agriculture, transport and logistics, financial and investment areas.
Tokayev thanked Sheikh Mohammed for his hospitality and noted that as President, he is paying his first visit to the Arab world in the United Arab Emirates.
Following the talks the two countries signed the following documents:
Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of petrochemical industry between the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the UAE, Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan and the UAE Ministry of Economy, Memorandum of Understanding between the Committee of the Astana International Financial Centre on regulation of financial services and the Central Bank of the UAE.
