Nazarbayev receives Kazakhstan's Supreme Court Council Chief

AKIPRESS.COM - Nursultan Nazarbayev on January 29 received Chairman of the Supreme Court Council of Kazakhstan Talgat Donakov, the press service of the former President reported. During the talks, Nazarbayev was informed about the process of implementation of the reform in judicial system and action plans on selection and preparation of the judicial staff.
"The Supreme Court Council selects the staff. This work should be objective. The judges should be selected as a result of the real competition. They should be educated, honest, and able to work with people," Nazarbayev noted.
Donakov, in turn, told about measures taken on providing transparency of selection of judges.
