AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Berdibek Saparbayev said the government might launch social assistance to families with 1-3 children, Sputnik Kazakhsta reports. The population is addressing such issues, he noted.
"We introduced a new social benefit for large families and 372,000 families are receiving this aid. The families with 1-3 children are also raising the issue of introducing similar benefits for them. We consider various approaches, hold financial calculations, but this issue will depend on financial opportunities," Saparbayev said at the session of the Mazhilis.
There are 372,000 families with more than 3 children in Kazakhstan. 125,000 of them are low-income families. About 125,000 families are raising 1-3 children, including 190,000 are poor families.
The Vice PM said that there are 6 kinds of social benefits in the country today.
