Kyrgyzstan to introduce dual education system

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan will introduce dual education. This system combines apprenticeships in a company and vocational education at a vocational school in one course, Primary Vocational Education Agency Director Rita Karasartova said.
She said the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan considered the respective bill containing amendments to the law on education, Labor Code in the first reading.
"Students will be able not only to seat at a desk, but will be able to improve their skills at a real production venture for 3-4 days. Preferences will be granted to businesses offering apprenticeships," she said.
If the bill is passed, students will obtain not only theoretical knowledge, but will advance their practical skills with the latest equipment available at the market, she said.
