28 new villages to appear in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The parliament committee for constitutional legislation, state structure, judicial and legal issues considered and passed draft laws on designation of certain settlements in the Jalal-Abad, Naryn, Osh, and Chui regions and on designation of certain settlements of the Batken, Jalal-Abad, Naryn and Osh regions to the village status on Feb 4. The director of the State Agency for Local Self-Government and Inter-Ethnic Relations under the Kyrgyz government Bakhtiyar Saliyev presented a draft law. Saliyev noted that the draft laws envisage assigning village status to 28 settlements.
The village status will be assigned to 28 settlements in the Jalal-Abad, Naryn, Osh, Chui, Batken regions.
