Japan gives near $90,000 for Dushanbe health care facility

AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Japan to Tajikistan Miyashita Takayuki attended the ceremony of completion of the project on upgrade of medical equipment of the Dushanbe medical center.
The project was carried out with grant assistance of the Japanese government.
The Government of Japan provided three grants for a total of $89,222 to the Karim Ahmedov medical center for purchase of the new medical equipment.
Before launch of the project, the medical center needed equipment for its obstetrics unit to provide care for newborns. The center obtained the modern medical equipment, including lung ventilation machine, monitors, incubators, beds and other equipment.
