Mongolia halts flights, trains with China

AKIPRESS.COM - The Mongolian government at its extraordinary session today made the decision to halt all flights and trains to China. Mongolia earlier closed all border crossing points with China until March 2 over coronavirus.
"All flights and trains between Mongolia and China will be stopped since tomorrow. If necessary, special charter fights will be available for Mongolian citizens staying in China. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is responsible for this work," government's press service chief Ts.Ganzorig said.
Around 6,000 Mongols returned from China up to now.
