Kazakhstan can not deal with such threats as coronavirus — U.S. State Secretary

AKIPRESS.COM - The U.S. State Secretary Mike Pompeo said the U.S. plans to help not only China, but also other countries, including Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, in fighting coronavirus as part of the 100 million dollar budget, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported.
Pompeo said that he noticed the unpreparedness of infrastructure of such neighbors of China as Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to combat the virus, RIA Novosti reports as State Secretary telling journalists on the board of the plane while heading to Munich for security conference.
"We have already allocated $100 million aid. May be more. This aid will certainly go to China to help them, but it will be also used in other places in the world..."
During his visit to Kazakhstan, Pompeo told he was impressed with how Kazakhstan takes measures to prevent spread of coronavirus in the country.
