First Vice PM says borders of Issyk Kul nature reserve should be clarified

AKIPRESS.COM - The borders of the Issyk Kul nature reserve should be clarified, the first Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov said today at the meeting with the staff of the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry.
He underlined the need to increase the forest areas, normalize the lease of forest pastures, lands of the state forest fund and clarify the borders of the Issyk Kul nature reserve.
He also ordered to strengthen works with the IAEA and the international donor organizations.
"The Agency should pay a special attention to the issuance of expert evaluation for hydrogeological situation of the lands and compressibility of seedlings, as well as the environmental situation of Bishkek," Boronov said.
