Most number of horses of Kyrgyzstan in Naryn and Issyk-Kul regions – statistics

AKIPRESS.COM - The number of horses in the farms of Naryn region increased by 8 thousand heads or by 6.7% in 2019 compared to 2018, the statistics says. The number of horses last year in the farms of Jalal-Abad region rose by 5.2 thousand heads or by 7.3%, in Chui region - by 4.4 thousand heads or 6.3%.
The highest number of horses across Naryn region falls to Naryn (8%), At-Bashy (7.2%) and Jumgal (6.5%) districts, in Jalal-Abad region to Nooken (22.9%), Suzak (11 , 9%) and Toktogul (7.3%) district, in Chui region to the Chui (12.5%), Issyk-Ata (9.1%) and Panfilov (8.5%) districts.
There are 522,611 horses in Kyrgyzstan today. The largest number of horses is kept in the farms of Naryn (127, 419 animals) and Issyk-Kul (108, 638 animals) regions.
