ARVI and influenza incidence fall by 15.5% across republic: Health Ministry

AKIPRESS.COM - The decrease of influenza and ARVI incidences is observed across the republic. A number of influenza incidences decreased as of Feb 17.
A high incidence was observed at 5th and 6th week of 2020. A number of incidences decreased from 7th week by 15.5% comparing to the previous weeks, where 9,884 versus 11,704 cases were registered.
Currently, laboratory tests of 90 patients for influenza have been conducted, where 19 cases (21%) are positive, including 57% of patients have influenza B cases and 31.5% - influenza A /H3N2, 31.5% - and influenza A /H1N1.
