Japan provides kitchen equipment for over $88,000 to schools in Osh, Jalal-abad regions

AKIPRESS.COM - The Government of Japan provided kitchen equipment valued at $88,320 to schools of Jalal-Abad and Osh region as part of the grant assistance program.
The handover ceremony was held on February 13 at the Roza Azimova School in Jalal-Abad.
World Food Programme Deputy Country Director Keiko Izushi said 4,000 school students in Jalal-Abad and Osh regions will receive hot meals since now on.
The Japanese government's grant assistance program is active in Kyrgyzstan since 1996. Some 155 projects for $10.58 million were supported since launch of the program.
