Saida Mirziyoyeva meets Ivanka Trump at Global Women’s Forum in Dubai

AKIPRESS.COM - The Global Women's Forum started in Dubai on February 16. The daughter of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Saida Mirziyoyeva, addressed the Forum as a member of the Commission for Gender Equality of Uzbekistan. On her Telegram page prior to start of the Forum, Saida Mirziyoyev said she was introduced to Ivanka Trump.
In her address to the Forum, Mirziyoyeva highly regarded the UAE as the most appropriate country for innovative women's projects and underlined that it is an important country for exchange of experience.
She added "the Uzbek women achieve big successes in all areas in the past, but remained in shadow."
"A long history of Uzbekistan is also history of our women. Poets, statesmen, diplomats, engineers, nurses, wives and mothers. Either the Oriental delicateness of arts or preciseness of exact sciences, women succeeded in all spheres, but remain in shadow. The time has come to set back our shoulders and demonstrate capabilities and traits without fear and restrictions," Saida Mirziyoyeva said.
