Oil and tobacco production are highest paid spheres in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Oil and tobacco production are the highest paid spheres in Kazakhstan, energyprom.kz reports.
The average month wage in the country in the 4th quarter of 2019 was 203,900 tenge, while in the industrial sector employees received 280,400 tenge in average (37.5% more).
Salaries of employees differ in various sectors: average salary in mining industry was 428,300 tenge, in processing - 234,400 tenge, in electricity and heat supply - 191,600 tenge, water provision, control over waste collection - 132,700 tenge.
Industrialists traditionally earn much in oil production sector in the regions: in Atyrau region (580,100 tenge+9,5% per year), Mangistau region (551,700 tenge+6.8% per year) and in West Kazakhstan region (476,900 tenge +16.7% per year).
The highest wages in mining industry are received by employees of the oil and gas production: 752,000 tenge.
The second and third highly paid sector in the minig is technical services (448,300 tenge+6.3% per year) and metal ore mining (323,800 tenge +12.8% per year).
In terms of the processing sector, the highest wages are received by employees of tobacco production: 722,900 tenge.
The lowest paid sphere is waste collection, where employees get 154,600 tenge +29.4% per year.
