Two children among Kazakhstanies quarantined in cruise ship in Japan — MFA

AKIPRESS.COM - Two women and two children are among Kazakhstanies on the board of the cruise ship Diamond Princess, which is quarantined in Japan, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan reports. "According to the reports of our diplomats, two women and 8- and 12-year-old children from Kazakhstan are on the board. They feel good and have no complaints. They are provided with all the necessary, including food and medicine," the statement says.
Quarantine in the cruise ship will complete on February 19.
According to professor Dinagul Bayeshova, the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan is in touch with the Kazakhstanis.
The checks in the ship began after an 80-year-old Hong Kong man who had been on the ship last month fell ill with the virus.
The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Japan says it keeps a constant contact with Kazakhstanis.They are not infected coronovirus. But they were tested for virus, the Embassy noted.
