Coronavirus: 204 people under medical observation in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - 204 people in Kyrgyzstan are under medical observation, said Kyrgyz Health Ministry's operative team for controlling coronavirus on Feb 19.
All quarantined were tested negative for coronavirus.
"The expert commission will decide on further monitoring based on the results of the tests. The condition of all patients is satisfactory. Observations are conducted according to the action plan approved by the Health Ministry," the operative team said.
40 students arrived in Kyrgyzstan from China on Feb 13 will be under the medical observation until the decision of commission on their further treatment.
The number of deaths from the coronavirus outbreak in mainland China rose by 136, pushing the nationwide death toll to 2,004 as of the end Tuesday, the country's National Health Commission reported on Wednesday.
At least 132 of the fatalities were from Hubei Province, the epicenter of the epidemic.Nationwide, there had been a further 1,749 new confirmed cases of which 1,693 were from Hubei, bringing the total number of infections across the country to 74,185.
Head of the World Health Organization (WHO) said Chinese medical data showed that more than 80 percent of patients have mild symptoms and will recover, while 14 percent suffer from severe complications such as pneumonia, 5 percent are in critical condition and 2 percent die from the disease.
"It appears that COVID-19 is not as deadly as other coronaviruses, including SARS and MERS," the WHO's Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told reporters in Geneva on Monday, adding that officials were starting to get a clearer picture of the outbreak.
