Population of Uzbekistan passes 34 million

AKIPRESS.COM - The permanent population of Uzbekistan reached 34,002,410 people by February 18, including 17,093,012 men and 16,909,398 women. By January 1, the population made 33,905,799 people, State Statistical Committee's press service chief Usmon Abdurasulov said.
127,300 were born and 29,100 died since the beginning of this year.
23,600 arrived in the country and 24,700 left the country.
