Kyrgyzstan to celebrate Victory Day at highest level - President

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan will mark the Victory in the Great Patriotic War at the highest level, said President Sooronbai Jeenbekov at the parliament meeting on Feb 20.
Jeenbekov noted the announcement of cross year of Kyrgyzstan and Russia was one of the main events in 2020.
"The 75th anniversary of the Great Victory will be celebrated at the highest level. We will never forget the heroism and courage of our fathers and grandfathers who secured peace and freedom for us," Jeenbekov said.
President noted that the country will fight against attempts to rewrite the history.
"We should always remember our glorious fathers who sacrificed their lives for our future, deepest gratitude to their blessed memory," said President.
