Mirziyoyev and Erdogan hold talks in Ankara

AKIPRESS.COM - The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkey held talks in Ankara on February 19, when they considered further expansion of multifaceted bilateral cooperation in political, commercial, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The Presidents found it necessary to hold regular meetings of the intergovernmental commission for commercial, economic cooperation, to utilize existing possibilities in mutually beneficial areas, to advance new projects and programs.
Importance of expansion of transport ties, multimodal transportation to Europe via Turkey was noted.
The President of Uzbekistan expressed interest in exploring the advanced experience of Turkey in intensive gardening, fishing, animal husbandry, suggested joint research projects between universities and research centers of the two countries.
Turkey was proposed to consider possibility of opening of modern clinics and diagnostic centers, delivery of training in business doing, textile production.
