Uzbekistan among top-3 biggest garment exporters to Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan exported 10,000 tons of clothing to Kazakhstan in 2019, local media reported. Kazakhstan imported around 62,000 tons of light industry products for $670.6 million from abroad.
Almost half of this products, 31 tons, for $181.8 million were imported from China.
Russia is on the second place. Some 10,500 tons of clothing were exported by Russia to Kazakhstan for $195 million.
Uzbekistan is the third biggest clothing exporter to Kazakhstan. Despite Uzbekistan exports almost the same amount of clothing, it receives at least 10 times less.
Other garment exporters to Kazakhstan include Turkey, Bangladesh, Belarus and other countries.
