Turkmenistan, International Labour Organization discuss cooperation ties

AKIPRESS.COM - The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan met with Senior Specialist of the International Labour Organization Country Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia Lejo Sibbel on Feb 20, the ministry reports.
During the meeting the parties stated the high level of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the International Labour Organization during many years. It was noted that Turkmenistan comprehensively works on the provision of decent labour, adhering to the norms of gender equality, labour protection.
The parties specifically noted that in current period of globalization and economic integration, the issues pertaining to the regulation of labour relations on the regional, as well as on the worldwide level are becoming more relevant.
